This collection of sketches utilized real world reference. I always prefer sketching on location, but some of the following were done using photo reference. Mediums include pen, pencil, marker and watercolor.

After studying physical spaces in the “Observation” section of this page, I began making my own conceptual designs. This collection of sketches includes concept designs for studio projects, competition brainstorms, and studies in lines planes and volumes.
